Since our little company, robin b., is based in RI and not many people have been to or are familiar with “Little Rhody”, I thought it might be great to share some fun little facts about our state and some of the amazing brands and products you can find in the Ocean State (see, we have lots of nicknames!).  Looking for a gift for the girl who has it all, look no further.

Rhode Island is the state of many firsts.  The first circus in the United States was in Newport in 1774. Polo was played for the first time in the United States in 1876 near Newport. The White Horse Tavern was built in 1673 and is the oldest operating tavern in the United States (not really a tavern anymore, as they require proper dress and is known for their fine dining). And Rhode Island is known for making silverware and fine jewelry.  Which brings me to our first gift idea…
