Ok guys, it’s May, and we all know what that means… Graduation Season! As we have friends and family graduating from college, it’s good to have some gift ideas ready-to-go. And don’t you worry, because I’ve got you covered! Here are some great ideas to get you started:
A nice watch: although many watches are “smart” these days, most of them aren’t exactly attractive… and there’s something to be said for a watch as an elegant complement to your outfit rather than just one more tech accessory in your life. This Kate Spade watch is great for the adventurous grad, while this beauty from MVMT is more understated.
Versatile jewelry: new grads may not have nice jewelry, so a piece that will work with many different outfits can be just what they need to elevate their style! This bracelet from Tiffany is simple, but the arrow detail brings some great interest to it!
For the Grad who’s already got a job lined up:
If your grad is one of those folks who are fortunate enough to already have a plan and a job on board after school, there are plenty of things that will help make their transition from school life to working life a bit easier! Some nice items for their office could be a lovely memento: a business card holder, a nice pen set, or a framed photo are all great starting points!
Does your grad need a new wardrobe for their swanky new job? You know I’ve got you covered… the robin b. Classic Capsule is the perfect foundation for a well balanced career wardrobe. Want a few more styling tips about transitioning from college to corporate? Check out my blog from last season.
For the one whose wanderlust is strong:
Know someone who is planning to travel? There are so many items that can make their travel easier!
This travel pillow with a built in hood may seem a bit silly, but I for one always find planes a bit on the cool side… this thing looks so cozy!
If your graduate is going full-on “backpacking through Europe” mode, Osprey packs are where it’s at. These packs are durable, come in a great variety of colors and styles, and their customer service is legendary.
And of course, you can never go wrong with a gift card! Amazon or Target gift cards, a robin b. gift card, or even cold, hard cash are always appreciated for those times of life transition. Make it more personal with a lovely handwritten card with some life advice or an encouraging story.
